Project Overview

Bond Bryan were appointed to design a new building to provide a home for the School of Economics and shared teaching facilities within its new strategic hub on its Canterbury campus. Set within the existing surrounding woodland, the building was designed to create a contemporary higher education environment, integrated into a treed landscape context.

It was extremely important for the University to have a building that was flexible and adaptable; we have therefore designed the building in a way that allows for future-proofing and for converting the building as teaching demands change. The building has kept a clear identity and sits well within the new business hub and the surrounding woodland to provide world-class facilities.
