Ultrapanel Highly Commended at Offsite Awards

23rd September, 2021

The Ultrapanel ‘room in the roof’ from Ultrapanel Building Technologies has been Highly Commended for the Product Innovation Award at the prestigious Offsite Awards - just 8 months after the launch of the system. The accolade at the fiercely fought awards comes after recognition earlier in the year at the Housebuilder Product Awards where the ultra efficient ‘room in the roof’ system won Best Brand New Product.

Commenting about the commendation from the Offsite Awards, Ultrapanel Managing Director, John Hough, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been Highly Commended in the category of Product Innovation at the Offsite Awards. Innovation is at the very heart of all that we do and this is demonstrated in our unique Ultrapanel system, which we believe offers the most efficient end-to-end way to build.”

The Offsite Awards received over 200 entries from companies at the forefront of the offsite industry in terms of innovation and expertise. 24 categories cover every aspect of the industry from hybrid and modular technology to engineering and installation, ensuring that all aspects of the offsite building process are celebrated and recognising the design and technology that makes these inspiring projects and products possible. Since inception in 2014, the Offsite Awards have grown in stature and this year, the standard was higher than ever, with organisers describing the competition to be shortlisted as 'fierce'.

Since its launch in January, the Ultrapanel ‘room in the roof’ system from Ultrapanel Building Technologies has already won Best Brand New Product at the Housebuilder Product Awards and is shortlisted at the upcoming Housebuilder Awards and CN Specialist Awards. The system was also shortlisted for Offsite Pioneer at the Offsite Awards.

Manufactured off-site and delivered as a flat packed ‘room in the roof’ kit, Ultrapanel’s innovative and accredited modern method of construction is the most efficient end to end way to build. Materials, manufacturing, and labour are optimised to deliver structural and thermal performance in a much lighter, simpler, and faster building system, with a high quality finish every time. Arriving palletised, Ultrapanel is rapidly assembled and requires no heavy lifting equipment. Thanks to short call-offs and a responsive supply chain the Ultrapanel ‘room in the roof’ delivers significant programme gains on busy sites.

Concluding, about Ultrapanel’s success at its Offsite Awards debut, John said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised in this way by the Offsite Awards and would like to offer our congratulations to all the other worthy winners.”
