The UK Timber Trade Federation (TTF) is to recruit a new director to replace interim CEO David Lennan who will be standing down at the end of this year.
The position is being advertised on www.ttjonline.com’s recruitment page from today.
The TTF is seeking an “outstanding individual” to lead the federation, working closely with the governing board to deliver the TTF three-year plan 2016-2018.
“This is an opportunity for an outstanding individual to help shape, change and lead a dynamic organisation at the heart of the 21st century sustainability agenda,” the TTF said.
“The new director will promote a strong and profitable timber industry built on supplying the UK with sustainable and fit for purpose products.”
Current interim CEO David Lennan was appointed a year ago and has led the creation of new industry umbrella organisation the Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI) – which launched during the summer.
