Prologis has agreed to lease 74,850 sq ft of space at its Basildon logistics park to Swan Commercial Services, a subsidiary of Swan Housing Association.
The unit at DC1 Prologis Park Basildon will be used to manufacture housing modules which will then be assembled at site on Swan’s housing schemes.
Following the deal, the scheme is now fully occupied.
“We are pleased that we have been able to meet Swan’s requirements and support its continuing success,” said Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK. “We are also glad that Prologis Park Basildon is now complete. The development has regenerated the former Visteon factory site and the new occupiers are set to bring a wide variety of jobs to the local community.”
