Premier Modular executive chairman steps down

17th December, 2020

This month sees the retirement of Premier Modular's executive chairman, Eugenio de Sa, after two decades and 12 years of leading Premier

Eugenio de Sa became executive chairman in June this year ahead of his retirement at the end of 2020, and David Harris was appointed managing director.

David has brought a wealth of industry and leadership experience to the role and is supported by an outstanding management team.

Inspirational leadership

David Harris said: "Eugenio has made an immense contribution to Premier. His professionalism, focus, passion, vision and inclusive style of management has cemented the brand as a market leader in offsite construction and modular buildings in many sectors.

"Eugenio recognised and responded to changing markets by pioneering innovation, broadening our product range, forming valuable partnerships and developing new sectors for the business.

"He has succeeded in building a really strong leadership team, who will take the business forward with the delivery of its strategic growth plan.

"Premier's financial performance is one of the strongest in the offsite sector and the business has grown year-on-year for both bespoke offsite construction solutions and temporary modular buildings for hire. This is a tremendous legacy.

"We have an excellent foundation in place to take the company to the next level, to continue to prosper for our shareholders, customers and staff, and to meet the wider challenges of the economic climate head on.

"On behalf of the Board and the whole Premier team, I would like to thank Eugenio for his achievements, commitment and inspirational leadership over the last two decades."
