Impact Capital Group has completed a multi-million-pound investment in offsite construction specialists, Lesko Modular Group

Impact Capital Group Limited has completed the acquisition of Lesko Modular and its subsidiaries. As a result, Lesko Modular Group will be rebranded as Impact Modular Ltd and will continue its growth in the offsite construction market.

The Lesko brand will continue its growth in the UK holiday and leisure markets as a manufacturer of ‘Glamping pods’ and holiday accommodation and as a leisure park operator.

Ambitious growth plans

Lesko Modular was formed back in August 2017 by Paul Pleszko and his son James.

Speaking about the investment, James said: “This represents a great opportunity for Lesko Modular to continue its exciting growth trajectory whilst representing an excellent return for Paul on his initial investment.

“We have found a partner that shares our ambitions, can invest additional capital and provide a pipeline of orders to the factory that will help the business achieve its ambitious growth plans.”

Lesko group chairman Paul Pleszko, commented: “We have been on the cusp of this for many years but I feel now more than ever it is time for the modular housing industry to come of age, coupled with this the growing demand for building regulated products in the park home & leisure market the potential for this business is endless.”

Impact Capital Group chairman Robert Whitton, added: “We are an expanding and focused developer of smart home neighbourhoods with a large pipeline of sites for which we were seeking to secure modern construction capacity and cost certainty and we have found the ideal partner in Lesko Modular.

“We believe Lesko have made excellent strides to date in this rapidly growing market and are capable of delivering an excellent sustainable product and outstanding service. We plan to supplement the growing Lesko orderbook with our own pipeline of new developments starting in early 2021.

“We are keen to grow the Lesko pipeline and deliver to existing and new customers as well as producing a bespoke product for our own sites.

“We were excited about the skill and passion of the management team and wide client base built by James and his existing team and are excited for the future as the company develops under his leadership and our guidance.”

Lesko Modular, based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire is expected to achieve sales revenue of over £20m in the next 12 months and have recently started working with a regional NHS Trust and Bristol City Council to deliver key worker accommodation.
