Changes at Hadley Group
In line with Hadley Group's strategic 2020 vision there has been a number of recent changes. In July, Ben Towe was appointed as Group Managing Director, replacing Stewart Towe who has become Executive Group Chairman. Ben joined Hadley Group in 2006 and since 2014 had been Group Deputy Managing Director. In his new role he leads the worldwide day-to-day activities of Hadley Group and Associates. As Executive Group Chairman, Stewart will continue to promote, drive and support the strategic aims of Hadley Group. In addition, Dr Michael Castellucci has taken over as Group Engineering Director and is responsible for all technical and operational functions.
Hadley Group Grows Again
As part of the next stage in Hadley Group's growth, the company has acquired cold rollformed sections specialist EWS (Manufacturing) Ltd. EWS, the market leader in Window and Door Steel Reinforcement, produces in excess of 25 million metres of cold rollformed sections annually. Its 90,000 sq ft manufacturing site in Wolverhampton will now form part of Hadley Group's global chain of manufacturing locations. EWS will continue to operate as an independent business unit and will benefit from the support of Hadley Group's global network of resources.
Explore Offsite and Modular Matters
In what has been an exciting year for offsite and modular construction, Hadley Group is proud of its continued sponsorship of the Explore Offsite series of events. The events provide construction industry professionals with the opportunity to hear about the latest offsite construction solutions and discuss how the industry can meet the challenges of further developing the use of offsite construction.
Hadley Group looks forward to its involvement with the final two events in the 2018 series:
· Explore Offsite North West - 12th September
· Explore Offsite Overview - 4th December
The manufacturer is also sponsoring the Modular Matters exhibition on 30th October with recognition that events such as these are vital in supporting the progression of the sector at a time when modular housing has the potential to help achieve the Government's target of delivering 300,000 new homes per year.
Looking Ahead
Offsite and modular construction is increasingly being viewed as the way forward for the industry and 2019 looks set to be a milestone year for the sector. With Government support for modern methods of construction, the adoption of new developments, techniques and technologies promises to grow strongly beyond 2020.
