Site accommodation hire company AV Group and manufacturing arm Danzer will now trade under a single brand with 76 staff across its sites in Greater Manchester, Nottinghamshire and Essex.
Denton-based AV Group and Nottingham-based Danzer will operate as AV Danzer. Headquartered in Denton, the newly unified group also has sites at Langley Mill near Nottingham and West Horndon near Basildon.
Although they will continue to exist as separate companies, AV Group and Danzer will operate and trade across the UK and Europe as AV Danzer in order to simplify production, sales, marketing, order and invoicing processes.
The move follows year-on-year growth for both companies, which are closely linked.
AV Group achieved an 18 per cent increase in profit in the year to September 2015, with turnover up to £6.8m from £5.8m. Meanwhile, Danzer posted a turnover of more than £5m.
Managing director Helen Scott said: "The hire company has been trading for almost 30 years and has grown organically during this time so today we have two separate and thriving businesses.
"The time is right for us to bring the operation of the two businesses together to deliver a more integrated offer.
"We are expanding into European markets and both the hire and sales side of the business are growing at a phenomenal rate so it makes sense now to be represented by one single brand and deliver a more streamlined operation."
